Not 0nly is the region mountainous and hard to transverse, but the access to personal, reliable transportation to get patients to the hospital is not available. By fully outfitting an ambulance with all the necessary life-saving equipment, the Hospital can now provide emergency trauma care to an area that serves over 90,000 residents in remote areas.
